Linda is a Registered Veterinary Technologist who graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at Thompson Rivers University in 2023. Growing up on a farm, Linda developed a deep love and respect for animals of all kinds, which inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She is passionate about her job and enjoys all the different hats you wear as an RVT, such as anesthetist, dental assistant, phlebotomist, and more! She loves how every day is different and you never know what’s going to walk in the door.
Linda worked at Mill Bay Veterinary Hospital as a receptionist before moving away for school and was excited to join the team again as an RVT after graduation!
She has a 1.5 year old Australian Shepard mix named Flynn, and you can always find other foster animals at her house that need a place to stay.
Beyond her technical skills, Linda is known for her empathetic approach, building trusting relationships with both animals and their owners. Outside of work she enjoys hiking with her dog, playing musical instruments and reading.
